Description

Our team is seeking a highly proficient UI developer familiar with mainstream Javascript frameworks such as Angular, VUE, and React. Our candidate will be responsible for taking product designs from the prototyping phase, and converting them to code, focusing specifically on the look, feel, and presentation of our applications, and user interaction. Our candidate will work closely with the user experience and product design team to meet our users’ needs at all times. Our candidate understands design patterns, and is dedicated to achieving quality and a high-level of polish, ensuring product designs are implemented as intended. Our candidate will communicate regularly with the product design and full-stack teams to ensure requirements are met, and will be critical in shipping products that meets our team’s high standards for maintaining an engaging, pleasant, useful, and usable experience for our users.

Our candidate will be familiar with Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, and various prototyping plugins like Anima App. Our candidate will be able to convert design files and working prototypes into HTML, CSS/SASS, and Javascript, implementing any required user interactions, animations, and advanced interface functionality before handing over working code to our full-stack team for feature completion and deployment. Our candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of every aspect of the stack, but is passionate and highly focused on the interface and the user’s perception of our application through that interface.

Our Candidate

• Is an expert that is a highly-proficient front-end developer with several years of experience working in a team-based environment.
• Has a strong HTML, CSS/SASS, and Javascript skillset.
• Has working understanding of UX design, with strong UI design skills and is capable of implementing bleeding edge CSS and Javascript technologies to achieve project goals.
• Is capable of implementing advanced front-end functionality include transitions, Lottie animations, SVG manipulation, interface responsiveness and user interactions.
• Is able to provide a strong portfolio of previous projects, with specific examples of your work meeting all the criteria above.

Education Required

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent of four years of experience in team-based front-end environments.
